I have court in a few weeks and have called around. there seems to be a few grand in his price differences.

    I would keep at it. Keep calling around. I would not just choose a DUI lawyer by price however. You want to get the best results possible. It’s not like trying to get the best deal on an iPod or something. A DUI can be a serious charge with serious consequences.

    If it is your first offense you should be able to find an attorney for $1,000-$1,500. I would however recommend that you get an attorney who deals with fighting DUI cases on a day to day basis. Here are a couple places that might help you find other attorneys.
